Hey guys! Aly & Aj have been busy with finishing their album & movie. Here are some updates...

- X: SAINT'S passing!
Recently, Aly & Aj's beloved dog, Saint, passed away due to a brain tumor. Aly & Aj have posted a blog on their myspace telling all fans what happened. We here at Amanda Michalka Source send out our deepest concerns for the Michalka family and hope they are doing alright. Our prayers go out to Saint who we wish will rest in peace. I have updated the PETS page to make sure we remember Saint.

Hey guys! This is Ashley giving you your update.
First of all, I'm SO sorry for all the lack of updates. I tried updating but our host was down & Aly and my FTP systems weren't functioning correctly. Check out a couple of cool articles which feature Aly & AJ - article ONE & article two. Aly & AJ recently filmed the pilot for their upcoming MTV show! I'm pretty sure it'll be a reality show, with footage of them backstage at concerts, in the studio and even them just chilling at home, so that should be awesome. They hosted coverage of the 2007 MTV Movie Awards red carpet for Yahoo over the past weekend. Check out a video HERE . There is another video of them talking about their 16/18 birthday bash! Aly & AJ's new album - out JUNE 10 - is officially called "Insomniatic". Their first single is also called The Potential Break Up Song. Check the home page of alyandaj.com for a preview HERE fore more info! (Thanks Nikki!) Tune into Radio Disney this Saturday at 1-3 to hear their new single! Then we're going to PICK IT!!

On July 8th, Aly & AJ's new MTV movie SWEET SIXTEEN will premiere on MTV at 2PM! Then on July 10th, the DVD will hit the stores! I just can't wait! :D

People have been wondering whether or not "Potential Breakup Song" is the first single or not. YES!!! it is our first single!

It was also chosen by MTV to be in our upcoming movie "Super Sweet Sixteen - The Movie," along with another song that we wrote. We are very excited!
